When John and Roxanne hired Jason and I as their wedding photographers, we knew it was going to be an amazing experience. After shooting their downtown Denver engagement portraits we knew we’d met a very special couple. John and Roxanne are lovely and their wedding day was no exception. Their wedding was super sweet, intimate, filled with love, and very warm and sunny! It takes two gondola rides to reach the summit of the Keystone Mountain wedding ceremony and reception site and the view is SO worth it. With the help of Julie with Classic Creations they orchestrated a gorgeous mountain top wedding, complete with Layla, their uber-adorable yellow lab, as ring bearer. Roxanne even made a special flower collar with a diamond ring on it for Layla to wear. So cute and fun to photograph.
During their reception the band, Chase n the Dream, played and were absolutely amazing. The reception also had a surprise birthday cake for John from his bride and even a little karaoke! We were able to steal the bride and groom away from their rocking party for few sunset wedding portraits. Beautiful couple in front of a beautiful landscape – can’t go wrong!

John and I were talking about how stunning Roxanne was and he said ( I can’t remember the middle part exactly) “she’s perfect… the dress and everything are beautiful, but she’s perfect.” Sigh. I love love.
As you may have guessed, the groomsmen were watching the World Cup – USA quarter-final’s match before the wedding. Nothing goes better with an amazing soccer game than a Balvenie Single-Malt Scotch and an afternoon Colorado Wedding!
One of the most amazing moments we were fortunate to photograph was their first look. John’s smile was unrestrained when he saw his bride for the fist time. Such a sweet moment.
