When Jason and I met up to grab a drink before their engagement photography session in Boulder, Allix & Nate told us they haven’t taken one good picture together in Colorado! They believe that in every picture one of them looks weird (I think they both must be crazy because they’re adorable). We were faced with the challenge of overcoming their years of bad luck in a single afternoon of photography! Luckily, we were up for the task 
and they photographed beautifully! They have such a fun, playful chemistry and were absolute naturals in front of the camera. A fantastic rain storm blew through Boulder just before we started shooting – so it was actually perfect Colorado weather for the shoot.
Allix is a University of Colorado at Boulder graduate, and they both love Boulder. We had a great time waiting for the storm to pass getting to know them better. We got started on Pearl Street, walked through a neighborhood, and finished up back on Pearl Street at the Boulder Book Store.
Allix & Nate are working with Gabby of Save the Date Events for their July 2011 wedding! We couldn’t be happier to be their wedding photographers.
