Photowalks are good for the soul

Yesterday I got together with a great friend for a photowalk around Denver. Dave is an amateur photographer who recently bought the Nikon D90 to take on his honeymoon with the beautiful Jess next month. We grabbed coffee, caught up on life, and hit a couple of different lodo locations. I showed him manual setting along with the many other options the camera has. Knowing Dave, he will enjoy playing around with all of it because loves any cool gadget… we get along so well! So, of course, I had to bring all my lenses along for him to experiment with! Even with a 1.5 crop factor, they all are compatible with his D90 body and by the end of the walk, he wanted all my lenses! He decided to start with the very good 50mm f1.4 prime lens… not to be confused with the Optimus Prime lol I’m such a dork.

These are of my favorite shots from the day! I loved getting the pigeon’s attention! Such a funny little bird.
