Katie and Kevin (along with their two sweet dogs) headed out with Jason and I for a Denver engagement photography session at Cheesman Park and then around the corner at the Denver Botanic Gardens. Katie and Kevin really wanted their engagement session at the Denver Botanic Gardens because Kevin proposed there (super romantic and cute), but didn’t want to miss out on photographs with their puppies. So, we started at Cheesman with the dogs who were very excited by everything around them! Katie and Kevin were troopers and had a blast while their dogs stalked squirrels in the trees. When you’ve got dogs with you on your photography shoots, you go with the flow!
For the second, more romantic half of their engagement session we moved to The Denver Botanic Gardens (without the dogs). This tender couple were able to enjoy some alone time and we were able to capture some nice portraits in such a gorgeous setting. We love Katie’s eyes (so fierce) and were able to grab some shots with them highlighted. They match her “firecracker” and totally fun personality which fits perfectly with Kevin’s mellow and relaxed demeanor.
Katie and Kevin are getting married in Denver next spring and we know it’s going to be a special day to photograph.
